Ordering & Shipping Information
Orders will be shipped within five working days. If you supply us with an e-mail address, you will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped.
Once an order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that will contain your tracking information.
If you are shipping your order within California you are required to pay sales tax. If the order is being shipped outside of California, you do not pay sales tax.

We offer shipping to most destinations outside of the U.S.A. The actual shipping rate will depend on how many items you’ve purchased and the weight of each item. Once you begin the checkout process you will see the actual shipping rate for your order.

Regarding shipping outside of the United States
Please be aware that shipping charges do not include international taxes or duties. You must contact the customs office in the destination country for information about any applicable duties or taxes. If an order is placed on www.kirk-hammett.com and then refused, you will be responsible for the original shipping costs, as well as any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that were incurred in shipping the package. These amounts will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. Please note that we are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot change this declared value.
Keep in mind that in the European Union, these fees can be 30% or more of the total declared value of your order.

Returns & Exchanges
Please contact us immediately if there is a problem with your order. We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects and will accept any defective item for refund or exchange. Defective merchandise may be returned within 30 days after purchase date for refund or exchange. If you want to make an exchange for a different style, you will be charged for the shipping on your exchanged item.
Merchandise received after 30 days of purchase date will only be accepted at our discretion. We will only refund shipping charges if we are responsible for sending you the wrong item or the item sent was defective. Again, if you are making an exchange because you would like a different style, you will be charged for the shipping on your exchanged item.
All merchandise for exchange must be returned unused, in original condition, and with tags still attached. Please make sure you also include a copy of the original invoice with your return or exchange.

How to ship your return or exchange
Pack and seal your box securely, in the original package if possible. Please make sure you include a copy of your original invoice.
You should ship your return or exchange with a shipper who will provide your package with a tracking number to ensure that your package does not get lost. Packages must be returned prepaid. We do not accept COD.

Refunds
Once your package has been received, your refund or exchange will be processed within 7 business days. If there is a refund due, a credit will be issued in the original form of payment. The credit may not show up until your credit card’s next monthly billing cycle. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your order when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us.

WE RESERVE THE FINAL APPROVAL ON ALL RETURNS AND EXCHANGES.
